With the new Casa Kae model, Florida Lifestyle Homes is leading the trend toward a holistic approach to new home design. Integrated into the home’s design are features to provide the owners with a well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.

Located on a lake-view home site in Quail West Golf & Country Club, the Casa Kae offers four bedrooms plus a study and five full baths plus one half-bath in 5,820 square feet of air-conditioned living space. With two lanais, a covered entry and a four-car side-entry garage, the Casa Kae include 9,080 square feet under roof.

“Inherent in a holistic lifestyle are attributes such as health, serenity, relaxation, tranquility,” said Denise Ogden, sales consultant with Florida Lifestyle Homes. “The Casa Kae includes all of the elements to assure the well-rounded life our soul seeks.”

The home embraces health in a variety of ways. The gourmet kitchen offers a large island and includes a butler pantry with an Urban Cultivator.

“The Urban Cultivator provides access to fresh, organic microgreens and herbs year-round,” Ogden noted. “It has automated functions that make growing a wide variety of microgreens easy. Using living greens usually means double the nutrient value of pre-cut greens. With the Urban Cultivator, you can harvest just minutes before adding to your cooking, a real boost to good health.”

The master suite occupies one wing of the Casa Kae, providing a tranquil retreat for the owners. The spa themed master bath is designed to provide yet another avenue to a healthful and serene lifestyle. His-and-her baths are connected by a walk-through shower. A freestanding soaking tub is the centerpiece of her bath, which includes dual vanities, one offering a seated dressing space, a private water closet with bidet and a large closet with dressing space. His bath features a vanity, private water closet, and large walk-in closet.

The sauna in the master bath retreat is a chromotherapy dry sauna, equipped with LED color light and a remote control. This feature offers the beneficial properties of chromotherapy, using colored lights to stimulate the senses, body, and mind. The spectrum of color usage is endless, and, depending upon the color selected, has the ability to elevate moods, produce soothing mindsets, stimulate cell regeneration and help in healing. It also offers cardiovascular benefits and promotes detoxification.

Ogden points out that clinical studies support the health benefits of the infrared sauna. “Dr. Imamura in Japan put 25 men with heart disease in an infrared sauna 15 minutes a day for two weeks. The results were significantly lowered blood pressure, significant weight loss significantly lowered blood sugar, significantly increased blood flow, lowered cholesterol, and lowered triglycerides,” she said. “These results were published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology in 2001.”

The list of conditions helped by use of the infrared sauna is extensive, Ogden notes, including arthritis, sleep disorders, mood disorders, thyroid disorders, acne, obesity, autism, cellulite, heart disease, radiation-related illnesses, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, scars and wound healing, strokes, menopause, depression, asthma, eczema and psoriasis, colds, the flu and more.

The master bath also offers access to an outdoor shower in a private garden, enhancing the tranquil ambiance of the master suite.

“The private garden is the perfect place for quiet contemplation or meditation, another element essential for a holistic lifestyle,” Ogden noted.

While accentuating features that promote a healthy lifestyle, the design of the Casa Kae also recognizes the importance of interaction with friends and family. The great room design offers a formal dining room and a breakfast room with vanishing corner glass that opens to the lanai and pool. There is a separate wine storage room. The study includes a unique secret room, accessed through a built-in cabinet with a passageway to a master bedroom closet.

There is also an entertainment room complete with a large full bar with backlighting. Entertainment features include a card table, sitting area with chess, a television and a shuffleboard table. This room also has a vanishing corner of glass that opens to the lanai and pool, expanding the space for entertaining. There is a full bath that may be accessed through the game room or from the pool, doubling as a pool bath.

The lanai overlooks the lake and encourages enjoyment of Florida’s climate with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, dining space and conversation area in front of the outdoor fireplace. The space has a full bar area with a television, a perfect spot to gather to enjoy the game. Automatic screens allow the view with another option that adds screen shutters for protection from the elements and privacy. A separate area offers a fire pit.

“No other homes include the lifestyle features incorporated into the design of the Casa Kae,” Ogden said. “One can’t help but be simply happy, healthy and at peace in the Casa Kae.”

The Casa Kae is offered at $4.495 million, designer furnishings included.
