The Shopping, Dining and Entertainment Capitol of Southwest Florida

Naples is a city in Southwest Florida that boasts rich history, world-class golf, white-sand beaches and high-end shopping. Once home to the Calusa Native Americans before the age of Spanish conquistadors, Naples has seen rapid growth due to its tourism and real-estate development industries.

Common residential properties in Naples include high-rise condominiums, sprawling estates, and water-front homes. Some of Southwest Florida’s most desirable communities, including the likes of Quail West and Park Shore, reside in Naples proper and boast extravagant, resort-style amenities.

Areas of interest include the shopping districts of 5th Avenue South, 3rd Street South and Tin City, all of which boast luxury antiquities, hand-crafted goods and varying cuisines. Designer storefronts can also be found at the open-air Waterside Shoppes.

Naples’ native wildlife, rare coastal bird watching, and proximity to the everglades has given rise to ecotourism over the past decade. The natural beauty of the Gulf of Mexico, and sand as white as sugar, prompted The Travel Channel to vote Naples’ beaches, including Clam Pass and Vanderbilt beaches, as the best all-around in the country in 2005.
